Plot Summary

Clark Griswold, an ever-optimistic family man, is determined to give his loved ones the most memorable Christmas ever. His elaborate plans for the holiday, however, soon go hilariously awry. From his disastrous attempt to cover the house in an overwhelming array of Christmas lights to dealing with unexpected visits from quirky relatives, Clark’s Christmas dream is at risk of falling apart. Yet, through the chaos, his unwavering belief in the magic of Christmas—and the love of his family—reminds us that sometimes, the best memories are made in the most unexpected ways.
